Hi Jim,
My name is Ashley Dowd and I just finished the Airline Career Pilot Program at Arlington, TX. I just wanted to let you know that I thought the training and experience was extremely professional and organized and ATP will be my first recommendation for friends who are considering flight school. I just wanted to point out a few of the instructors who truly helped me along the way.
Matt Drumm and Walter Hohmann both helped with my private training and without their excellent work I could not have made it any further. Ryan Stewart was my instructor through the Commercial phase and he provided a relaxed environment that made learning much easier and stress free. I did my initial CFI training in Jacksonville and both Walter and Matt Blythe were there to make sure we didn't miss a step and made sure that we received adequate training and were prepared for our checkrides. Erik Wilson helped me finish my MEII and my CFI and his attention to detail and broad knowledge helped make my two last checkrides the easiest because I knew I was completely prepared.
As an ATP graduate I can say that I wouldn't change anything about my training. The instructors that I have had will be my model for how I will be as a CFI and I just wanted to let you know that I feel that ATP is the best choice when choosing a flight school.
