The instrument portion of my training was the most challenging part of this program so far. The workload in the plane was intense and there was a lot of knowledge to absorb. However I managed to make it through and pass my check ride on the first attempt thanks in large part to my instructor, Eric Johnson [ATP Flight Instructor]. Anybody would be lucky to have him as their instructor. He is very knowledgable, and he will always push you to be better. His sim sessions, although tough and sometimes frustrating, are great because they make you realize that even when you think you got it all down there is always room for improvement. Anything can happen in a flight and that is what he has prepared me for. Also, he taught me how to land the Seminole with more precision.
