I was my instructor's [Sam Gustafson, ATP Flight Instructor] first student to go from zero (zero time) to checkride. My examiner was very pleased with my level of skill, which I attribute in no small way to my instructor's knowledge, attitude, and ability to teach. The examiner also thanked Sam directly for sending him a student that was so well prepared. So he definitely deserves credit in my eyes, and I'm glad to have worked with him.
