I have confirmed with company officials that Republic Airlines will immediately begin interviewing and hiring qualified pilots to fly for Republic Airlines, Chautauqua Airlines and Shuttle America. All three airlines are owned and operated by Indianapolis based Republic Airways Holdings.
It is reported that Republic will hire 100 pilots in 2011. Republic’s hiring minimums will be published on their website.
Republic Airways Holdings owns Chautauqua Airlines, Frontier Airlines, Lynx Aviation, Midwest Airlines, Republic Airlines and Shuttle America, collectively "the airlines." The airlines offer scheduled passenger service on approximately 1,600 flights daily to 121 cities in 44 states, Canada, Costa Rica, and Mexico under branded operations at Frontier, Midwest, and operates flights airline services agreements with five major U.S. airlines.
The flights are operated under an airline partner brand, such as American Connection, Continental Express, Delta Connection, United Express, and US Airways Express. The airlines currently employ approximately 11,000 aviation professionals and operate 288 aircraft.
