Mesa is one of the most successful recruiters of the graduates of ATP’s Airline Career Pilot Program (ACPP), hiring a large percentage of graduates who have gone on to build the quality flight experience valued by the airlines. After a pilot completes the ACPP, they begin giving flight instruction for ATP until they have the required flight time to be hired by the airlines. ATP’s recruiting partner Mesa Airlines announced that it has been chosen by American Airlines to fly seven additional new Bombardier CRJ900 NextGen aircraft under the American Eagle brand for the next ten years. The new aircraft will bring the total number of CRJ900s flown by Mesa to 64.
