Horizon Air Teams with ATP to Offer The Tuition Reimbursement Program to Aspiring Pilots

Horizon Air, owned by Alaska Airlines, has teamed with ATP to offer the Tuition Reimbursement Program to ATP’s students and instructors. Horizon Air will provide up to $11,000 to pay for flight training costs in addition to what ATP Instructors will earn while instructing at ATP and flying for Horizon.
Horizon Air has also announced the addition of jet airliners to its fleet. Horizon signed a firm order with Embraer for 30 E-175 regional jets as well as announcing that they have taken options to buy 33 additional E-175s. Horizon Air reports that its Embraer 175s will supplement their fleet of Bombardier Q400 turboprops, and Horizon reports that it will fly both the Embraer 175 and the Bombardier Q400 for the foreseeable future.
