ATP’s Tuition Reimbursement Program partner GoJet Airlines announced today that they have reached a tentative agreement with their pilots on a five-year contract. The new tentative agreement contains improvements in work rules, benefits and pay which brings new First Officer pay to over $38 per hour / $40,000 per year, which is becoming the new standard in the regional airline industry. Once the agreement is ratified it will benefit the pilots that ATP will be sending to GoJet through the Tuition Reimbursement Program.
Recognizing the challenges in pilot recruitment and the shortage of pilots entering the industry, ATP created the Tuition Reimbursement Program to financially assist students who wish to begin careers flying for the airline industry. The program will also assist in the recruitment of experienced pilots seeking to qualify to fly for the airlines.
This program benefits ATP’s pilots by allowing an airline to add up to $500 per month to the salary of over $30,000 they earn per year while instructing with ATP. The $500 per month benefits continue to be paid during the pilot’s first year flying for the airlines. The Tuition Reimbursement Program will allow for the majority of a pilot’s monthly student loan payment to be paid by the airline they select to fly for.
ATP is your fast track airline career solution from zero time to 1500 hours, with at least $11,000 in tuition reimbursement, sponsored by ATP’s airline alliances.
