Comair plans on recalling at least 70 pilots and 40 flight attendants from furlough because the Erlanger-based regional carrier will be doing more flying.
The company will start adding flying hours in June. The Delta Air Lines subsidiary will keep adding hours and employees gradually from July through November.
"This is obviously a positive development, and we have already begun preparations to accommodate this new schedule from a staffing, fleet and maintenance perspective," Comair president John Bendoraitis said in a memo to employees Thursday.
The airline will start issuing recall letters to crew members starting next week, with the goal of having the first group of pilots flying by July.
