Bombardier announced an order for six Learjet 75 business jets last week, and for five Global 6000 business jets the week before. The general aviation aircraft sales, based on 2012 list prices, are worth $374 million.
The Learjet 75 features the Bombardier Vision flight deck, has a maximum altitude of 51,000 feet, and has a range of more than 2,000 nautical miles -- or the distance between Montreal and Aspen, Colo. The aircraft accommodates eight passengers.
The Global 6000 also has the Vision flight deck, has a maximum altitude of 51,000 feet, and has a range of 6,000 nautical miles -- or the distance between New York and Tokyo. The aircraft accommodates 19 passengers.
