Since 1984, thousands of professional pilots have come to ATP Flight School for career-oriented flight training. In addition to training new generations of airline pilots, ATP has expanded operations to include the operation of top-quality Fixed-based Operations (FBOs). ATP opened its first new FBO facility at Daytona Beach International Airport (KDAB) in October, 2009, and has continued to build more.
Recently Signature Flight Support, the world’s largest fixed-base operation (FBO) and distribution network for business aviation services, announced that its affiliate FBO program, Signature Select™ has signed an agreement with ATP Jet Center of Daytona Beach International Airport (KDAB) to become a member location.
Melissa Singer, Director of Brand Extension for Signature Flight Support said, “We are proud to welcome ATP Jet Center to Signature as a Signature Select™ location.” Singer continued, “Value for both the FBO owner and Signature is created through extending the network and providing customers with a superior FBO experience. We are confident that Signature Select will create competitive advantages for ATP Jet Center.”
Todd Outcalt, Director of Business Development for ATP said, “With the global nature of business aviation and the value of Signature’s network, we readily decided that becoming a Signature Select location was advantageous for our company and our customers. We think this is an optimal opportunity for FBOs who want to expand their business in this highly competitive and fragmented marketplace. Additionally, this agreement allows ATP to focus on our primary business of providing advanced flight training and career development for the aspiring professional pilot.”
