ATP has partnered with Mesa Airlines to offer a program that marks the very first time that an airline has actively paid tuition costs for pilots working toward careers flying for the airlines. Pilots entering ATP’s Tuition Reimbursement Program will have Mesa directly assisting ATP pilots with tuition payments both while they are instructing for ATP, and after they begin flying for Mesa.
ATP students have access to numerous loan options for full financing of airline career program flight training. This agreement will allow for a substantial portion of that payment to be subsidized by the pilot’s future employer, Mesa Airlines. Mesa is the first airline to directly invest in pilots as they build flight experience through ATP’s Tuition Reimbursement Program.
“This is the first program that truly promotes the pilot career. It provides a solution to the pilot’s loan repayment responsibility and will help them make a decision to enter into one of the most rewarding careers with tremendous long-term earning potential,” said Derrick Dennis, ATP’s President.
The Tuition Reimbursement Program is the latest addition to the options available to the pilots who chose ATP to provide them a seamless path from the beginning of flight training to a career flying for the airlines. Please call ATP for details. The current pilot shortage, pilot’s forced retirements and other circumstances have created the chance to have a career flying for the airline industry. You can fly for the airlines and the best and most time-proven way to get there begins with flight training with ATP.
