American Eagle Airlines recently used ATP's pilot recruitment tool,
PilotPool.com, to reach out to hundreds of pilots to notify them of newly
reduced hiring minimums to 500 TT / 50 ME / ATP RJ Program. American Eagle also announced that pilots hired at 500 TT / 50 ME will be sent to ATP's
7-Day Regional Jet Standards Certification Program at American Eagle's expense. Read more details after the break...
American Eagle will interview pilots who have 500 hours of total flight experience with 50 hours of multi-engine experience. If they complete the interview successfully, they will be sent to participate in ATP’s Regional Jet Standards Certification Program, paid-for by American Eagle.
Pilotpool.com is a pilot recruitment tool that airlines have been using as a first point of contact to track and recruit all past and present customers of ATP as they work their way through the flight training pipeline. ATP Airline Career Pilot Program students are tracked real-time by recruiters and the student themselves can see exactly where they stand with respect to their peers and airline hiring minimums.
PilotPool will soon be available for use by all pilots who are commercial multi-engine and instrument certified pilots. We will take a closer look at the benefits of using PilotPool.com, a free service provided by ATP, in a future post.
For information about how to take advantage of the new hiring minimums, please see the announcement sent out through PiltoPool.com by American Eagle:
