Lynx Aviation, Inc. is the successful regional carrier that operates solely for Frontier Airlines based in Denver, Colorado. It is the only regional carrier that Frontier uses, and has been performing extremely well in the western states.
Lynx Aviation was founded by Frontier Airlines Holdings to feed their operation out of smaller airports around Frontier's Denver hub. Lynx Aviation presently operates 10 Bombardier Q-400s, and began operating in 2007.
Lynx flies to 15 destinations for Frontier Airlines. Lynx currently offers scheduled service out of Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.
Lynx's Q-400s feature animals on their tails, including a moose, toucan, harp seal, bobcat, and of course, the baby lynx.
