Subject: Thank you, ATP.
Dear Jim,
Ever since I began my training with ATP in February 2005, my experience has been nothing short of OUTSTANDING! I received a phone call this morning, December 26, 2007, from American Eagle, offering me a class date of January 21, 2008. I gladly accepted.
I would like to thank you and the staff at ATP for helping to make my goals reachable.
After completing the Airline Career Pilot Program in July 2005, I took the knowledge that ATP gave me and began instructing at a local FBO in south Texas. I began building time and experience instructing high school students at the Marine Military Academy here in Harlingen, Texas. I have had a 100% pass rate with my students and owe it all to the training I received at ATP. I have also had a chance to do agricultural work for the USDA, and aerial photography for various clients.
In July 2007, I began the CRJ program with plenty of anticipation. I have to say that this program was everything I expected and more. The knowledge I gained in just one week of intensive training has definitely given me a heads-up of what to expect during my training at American Eagle. For that experience I am truly thankful.
I would like to mention a few people who have given their time and effort in a very selfless fashion throughout my training with ATP. First, I would like to thank Rick Koncius, Paul Shields, and Mike Shanahan. Although they have moved on to careers at their respective airlines, they helped to lay down the foundation for my training. Second, I would like to thank Josie and Andy Patrick, and Michael Bailey for their time, patience, and expertise during my training in the CRJ program. I would also like to thank Ben Gabriel for his guidance and assistance in helping me to reach my goal of attaining a job at American Eagle. Finally, I would like to thank Justin Ratliff for helping me prepare for the simulator interview at American Eagle. Even though his schedule was full, Justin found time for me on such short notice. Without hesitation, Justin gladly accepted the task of sitting with me in the Frasca simulator at the Arlington location, and going over profiles. Because of this preparation, my interview on December 18, 2007 went off without a hitch.
The people mentioned above personify the professionalism and courtesy that I have experienced first-hand with ATP. In closing, I would like to thank you and the staff at ATP, once again, for all the hard work that makes this company what it is today. Hands down, ATP is the only choice for flight training. I look forward to my training at American Eagle, and keeping in touch with ATP in the future. Happy holidays!
Sincerely, Rolando Rodrigues
