Dear Jim,
I wanted to take the opportunity to let you know that I was hired yesterday by ExpressJet Airlines. Thank you for your letter of recommendation!
I also wanted you to know how much I value ATP and how much I will miss instructing for the program. It was an amazing program when I went through in 2004 and, it was a great pleasure to be accepted back as an instructor in 2006 after I had finished college. What struck me the most was that the program continues to put out some of the finest and most well prepared individuals. Thanks again to you, Phil, and Derrick for giving me the opportunity to serve at ATP.
Please accept this as my letter of resignation. My last day will be Sunday, November 5th.
