I joined the Airline Career pilot Program in October of 2002 with aspirations of being an airline pilot. I was 18 at the time and had a few semesters of college, so I was worried that airlines would not want to pick me up due to my young age. However, after intructing for ATP long enough to build my time up and get a Citation type through ATP, I was hired with a 135 company flying LearJets on international air ambulance trips. I built up over 400 hours of jet time and put my type to good use on charter trips in a Citation. I recently applied to Chautauqua Airlines and was hired at age 20. I'm extremely thankful to ATP for the training I received and the opportunity to instruct for them. Thanks a lot!
